FIE update on qualification for Tokyo 2020 Olympics

Following the postponement of the Tokyo Olympic Games to 2021, the FIE Executive Committee and the International Olympic Committee have approved an updated qualification system.
The updated document can be viewed below and has been added to the Tokyo 2020 rankings page of the AFF website.
Only the various dates mentioned in the document have been adapted and revised to take into account the decisions notified in the FIE urgent letter 2-20 (view the letter here).
Results and qualifications obtained until March 2020 are retained. The rankings are “frozen” as of March 8, 2020 and will be reactivated (on a date yet to be determined) when the last competitions counting for the Olympic qualification mentioned in the urgent letter 2-20 can be held.
