Important Update: Changes to Coach Accreditation Requirements for 2026
As part of the Australian Fencing Federation’s adoption of the National Integrity Framework, we are introducing new requirements for coach accreditation through the JustFence system. These changes are designed to strengthen integrity and safeguard our sport.
From 2026, all coaches seeking accreditation will be required to complete mandatory Sport Integrity Australia education modules and provide certificates of completion. These modules are short and tailored to different coaching levels.
What You Need to Do
Please review the full details of the AFF Education Plan on the https://www.ausfencing.org/integrity/. The requirements are as follows:
- Level 0 Coaches
- Safeguarding Children and Young People in Sport Induction (required once only)
- Level 1 Coaches
- Safeguarding Children and Young People in Sport Induction (required once only)
- National Integrity Framework (required once only)
- Anti-Doping Fundamentals (required once only)
- Annual Update (must be checked yearly)
- Level 2 and Level 3 Coaches
- All courses listed above (required once only)
- Annual Update (must be checked yearly)

Important Note
All documents must be uploaded to JustFence. Any existing records in One Point will transition over within 24 hours after registering with JustFence. However, please note that new course certificates can only be uploaded to JustFence.
