AFF Tournament Coach Accreditation Credential in JustFence
What is AFF Tournament Coach Accreditation?
AFF Tournament Coach Accreditation allows accredited coaches to access the Field of Play at a specific Australian Fencing Federation (AFF) national tournament.
The accreditation process helps ensure that only appropriately qualified and currently accredited coaches have access to competition areas during national events. This supports a safe, professional, and well-managed competition environment for athletes, officials, and spectators.
Who Can Apply?
Only coaches who currently hold an AFF coaching accreditation at one of the following levels may apply:
- Level 1 Accredited Coach
- Level 2 Accredited Coach
- Level 3 Accredited Coach
To remain valid, a coach's underlying AFF coaching accreditation must remain current for the duration of the tournament. If a coach's accreditation expires, their AFF Tournament Coach Accreditation will no longer be valid.
When Do You Need a AFF Tournament Coach Accreditation?
You must obtain a AFF Tournament Coach Accreditation if you wish to access the Field of Play as a coach at an AFF national tournament.
AFF Tournament Coach Accreditation is issued for one tournament only. If you wish to coach at multiple national tournaments, you must submit a separate accreditation request for each tournament.
Key Points
- Access to the Field of Play is restricted to appropriately accredited coaches.
- Only current AFF Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 coaches are eligible to apply.
- Your coaching accreditation must remain current throughout the tournament.
- Accreditation is tournament-specific and is not automatically transferred to other events.
- A new application is required for each national tournament you wish to attend as a Tournament Coach.
This process helps maintain a safe and professional competition environment while ensuring athletes receive support from appropriately accredited coaches.
