All fencing venues must close

Following  today’s historic meeting of state and federal governments and announcements regarding new measures to combat the spread of COVID-19, the AFF advises its members that all sporting venues must close until further notice.

State associations and clubs should make themselves aware of any additional restrictions placed on community sports by their respective state governments.

President of the AFF, Mr Vince Elias, will meet with all state association presidents by teleconference this Wednesday 25th March to discuss matters arising from today’s announcements by the Federal Government.

Further information about the shutdown of non-essential services and travel restrictions as they affect our sport, particularly our competition calendar, will be advised when more is known.
