AFF Officiating Director earns a berth at Tokyo Olympic Games

AFF Referee Director, Italian Emanuele Bucca, has been appointed to the officiating team for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.
This appointment is a great honour for referees and reflects Emanuele’s skill and experience in the international fencing arena.
Emanuele was the guest international referee at the 2017 Australian National Fencing Championships and was appointed as AFF Referee Director in May 2018.
He maintains strong links with Australian referees, advising on the appointment of visiting international officials and providing ongoing guidance to our national coaches and HPP management.
