AFF appoints Board member

The AFF is thrilled to announce the appointment of Amara Haqqani as an appointed Board member.

Amara is a financial services executive, with 25 years of experience in funds management, superannuation & retirement income, and financial technology & platforms. Amara brings key skillsets in finance, board governance, strategic thinking and team leadership to the AFF Board, and her qualifications include an MBA, a Masters in Commercial law, and a Bachelor of Commerce. She has also completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors’ Company Directors Course.

Amara has said about her appointment “I am thrilled to be joining the AFF board and look forward to seeing the sport of fencing prosper and inspire Australians of all ages and backgrounds to get involved.”
