2026 Senior and Veteran Commonwealth Fencing Championships
The Australian Fencing Federation will be opening selection for the 2026 Senior and Veteran Commonwealth Fencing Championships immediately following the AFC4 event in Sydney this weekend.
The 2026 Commonwealth Senior, Veterans & U23 Fencing Championships will take place at Charterhouse School, Lagos, Nigeria from 9 – 19 August with individual events planned for Senior, Veteran and U23 categories.
Results from AFC4 will be included in the selection process for the Commonwealth Championships.
The initial selection rounds will be handled in the FASS selection system based on the Australian rankings at the time of selections opening and an email regarding selection in the event will be sent to everyone on Monday.
If you don’t have a ranking you will need to manually apply to compete at the event by filling in the non-designated event form here:
Entries will close on Sunday 26 April.
As this is a non-designated event, the AFF will process selection and entries into the tournament, but all other event arrangements will need to be conducted individually. We will look to appoint voluntary Team Managers from within those travelling to the event to provide additional support at the event.
