Proof of Australian Citizenship Credential
What is the Proof of Australian Citizenship Credential?
The Proof of Australian Citizenship Credential is used to provide evidence that a member is eligible to represent Australia at international competitions.
This credential allows the Australian Fencing Federation (AFF) to verify a fencer's Australian citizenship status when required for international team selection, representation, and eligibility purposes.
Accepted Documents
You may provide any one of the following documents as evidence of Australian citizenship:
- Australian Passport (current or expired)
- Australian Birth Certificate
- Australian Citizenship Certificate
Only one of the above documents is required.
Privacy and Security
Documents submitted as part of the Proof of Australian Citizenship Credential are used solely for the purpose of verifying eligibility to represent Australia at international events.
Once the document has been reviewed and the credential has been verified, the uploaded document will be removed from the system. The AFF will retain only the verification status required to confirm eligibility and will not retain copies of citizenship documents beyond the verification process.
The AFF handles all personal information in accordance with its privacy obligations and applicable Australian privacy requirements.
