As a kid, I always wanted to be a Fencer but there was never anywhere to train where we lived. So it was more of a dream than a reality.

In 2000 when the Olympics was in Sydney, I saw a lot of adverts that had Fencing in them. I did a bit of research and found a club that was only 20kms away so "This is it" I said to myself. "Time to give it a go".

I started my Fencing career that year at the Swords Club in Sydney under Alwin Wardle
