When and Why they started fencing:
Dinuki began fencing aged 11 out of curiosity, after reading about the sport in a novel. She has fenced at the Gold Coast Youth Fencing Club since beginning her fencing journey under coach Hong Quan Cui (Stephen). After attending her first competition in 2021, she begun fencing for the Queensland State Epee squad in 2022. In August 2023, she gained entry to the High Performance Commission, and began fencing for the Australian National team in epee.
