When and Why they started fencing:
I first started fencing when I was 11 years old. My father who is my coach (Nick) encouraged me to start fencing as a means to get active and learn some discipline. Fencing to me was not initially love at first sight, but as I gradually learned the skill, tactic and the fitness that came with this sport, it became my favourite hobby and topic of conversation.
