AFF Adopts National Integrity Framework (NIF)
The Australian Fencing Federation is very pleased to announce the adoption of the National Integrity Framework (NIF) and the updating of a host of other AFF Sport Policies (together, “AFF Policies”). In this initiative, we will join over 80 recognised National Sporting Organizations and National Sporting Organizations for people with Disability that have adopted the Framework and its policies.
The implementation of the NIF (National Integrity Framework) and the incorporation of definitions into the majority of AFF (Australian Fencing Federation) Policies will simplify the process of adhering to policies, regulations, requirements, and rules. Importantly, by making these adjustments, the AFF is elevating the standard of expected behavior and integrity that all Relevant Persons must uphold when participating in activities associated with Relevant Organisations (i.e. AFF and State-based fencing activities). This includes increasing the expectation of mutual respect for all members of our fencing community. The AFF Code of Conduct and other policies clearly outline the expected standards.
For more information regarding the National Integrity Framework please see here.
There are now three types of AFF Policies:
- NIF Policies
- NIF Affiliated Policies
- AFF Sport Policies
