Apply to the High Performance Program

This is the nomination process for selection to the Australian Fencing Team (AFT) or Australian Fencing Squad (AFS).

Nominations will only be considered once this form is submitted and nomination fee paid. If a nomination is unsuccessful the nomination fee (minus any processing charges) will be refunded.

But first!

Before nominating, download and carefully read the HPP Annual Program for your weapon and age group. If you require a variation to the program, now is the time to request it. You will need to complete the relevant table and save it  (use your name, weapon and age group in the document title), ready to upload as part of the nomination process. If you don’t upload a variation request, you are accepting the High Performance Annual Program without variation.

Variations to Annual Programs

The High Performance Annual Programs have been set by the High Performance Committee as the minimum requirement for being part of the AFF's High Performance Program. Variation requests are not an automatic entitlement. The High Performance Committee will assess each individual request and may call for further information. If you request a variation, your nomination will not be effective until the request is approved or denied. The AFF's High Performance Program Administration Manager will be in contact with respect to any variation requests as soon as practicable.
