Application for FIE Licence

The following form is to be used to provide the required information nessary for the issue of a FIE fencing Licence. This online form can only be used by the person that the licence is for and who is over 18 years of age. If you need to request a licence for someone else, or you are under the age of 18, then you will need to download the form from here.

This form can only be used by Australian Citizens, as the Australian Fencing Federation is only able to purchase FIE Licences for Australian Citizens.

At the end of this process you will need to pay the sum of AUD60.00 to the AFF. Payment details will be provided at the end of the online form as well as once you have submitted the form. You will receive an email that will summarise all of the information that you have provided, and instructions on paying the AFF.

Anti-Doping Obligations

Banned Substance Medication Protocol for International Athletes

If you are prescribed medication, and you are unsure of its status, you call the ASADA hotline. The hotline number is available on the ASADA website at http://www.asada.gov.au/.

If your medication is listed as a banned substance you MUST notify the FIE on this on either a Therapeutic Use Exemption Form or an Abbreviated Therapeutic Use Exemption Form, with a copy to admin@ausfencing.org or AFF Admin Officer, 64 Princess Street, Williamstown, VIC, 3016.

In aplying for this licence electronically I confirm that I undertake:

to abide by the provisions of the FIE Rules and Statutes;
to respect the FIE anti-doping Rules, use neither prohibited substances nor prohibited methods and agree to undergo any in competition and out-of-competition testing; and
when participating in FIE competitions, to transfer to the FIE any individual or collective image rights and agree to be filmed (notably by the television), photographed , identified and registered in any way.

The FIE undertakes to used these rights only in connection with the promotion and development of fencing in the following media; publications and reviews, internet website, audiovisual aids.
