Applications should include the coach’s CV, a copy of their passport and a brief description (approximately 200 words) detailing the personal project they would like to undertake. The AFF will review the applicants and submit one nominee to the Australian Olympic Committee who will make the selection of candidates from National Sporting Organisations

The Australian Fencing Federation hosts four major training camps each year at the AIS, Canberra, as part of the AFF High Performance Plan. The 2017  'winter' training camp will take place on 1st - 4th July (arrival on 30th June). The AFF congratulates Joe Raciborski (Assistant National Epee Coach) on his selection to participate in the FIE Coaching Academy course in Budapest commencing on 4 April 2016. The course is a fully funded three month intensive (6 hours a day, 5 days a week) and provides a fantastic opportunity to learn from some of the world's top coaches (http://fie.org/media/news/313).

The AFF anticipates that further opportunities to participate in similar courses may become available in the future.
