Eddis Linton Shield
Womens Individual Foil
Eddis Linton was the co-founder and first President of the Australian Amateur Fencing Federation, first Australian Olympic Federation delegate and member of the organising Committee for the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games.
The Eddis Linton Shield is presented at the National Championships to the Womens Foil Champion. The champion's name is engraved on a plate fixed for this purpose on the shield.
