Dr Alfred E Finckh Shield
Mens Individual Foil
Dr. Alfred E. Finckh established the first Fencing Club to open in the 20th Century in Sydney and was the first Australian to hold an FIE license.
The Alfred E. Finckh Shield is presented at the National Championships to the Mens Foil Champion. The champion's name is engraved on a plate fixed to the shield for that purpose.
