Club Accreditation is the first accreditation level in the Australian Fencing Federation’s Officiating Training Program. Club Referees are confident and capable to referee in basic situations such as club or squad training and low-level club or school competitions. A Club Referee will be able to:

To gain Club Accreditation, a referee needs to complete the following requirements:

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Referees need to be at least 12 years old to be granted Club Accreditation. To complete and maintain their accreditation, referees need to be members of their State Fencing Association and pay an annual accreditation fee to the Australian Fencing Federation.

 

LENGTH OF ACCREDITATION

Club accreditation remains current for 2 years once completed. After two years, a referee can gain reaccreditation by attending another Club Officiating Course and resitting the theoretical and practical assessment components.

 

NEXT STAGE

After gaining Club Accreditation, referees can participate in State Officiating Courses and move towards completing their State Level Accreditation.
