High Performance Program
The High Performance Training Program [HPP] is directed at moving our country into the highest possible level of elite fencing countries in the world. The HPP is designed to give athletes and officials a pathway pyramid to success. It is grounded in the concept of an Australian Team, covers all weapons, and is connected to a good sponsorship model and a new Selection Policy.
The HPP Annual Program was amended in July 2012 to recognise the retirement from international competition by a number of senior fencers.
The attached documents and brochures gives general information about the program. As the administrative processes change from time to time, for the full information about the AFF High Performance Program please contact Frank Walsh (High Performance Director) or Paul Crook (High Performance Manager), or check out the Frequently Asked Questions.
