The Federation cannot survive financially solely on the contributions made by State Associations, or the revenue provided by running National competitions. As such, it needs to look to outside bodies for funding assistance. This funding comes from government orgnisations - for example, the Ausltralian Sports Commission - and through limited private sponsorship arrangements.
